Tegra Acknowledged as Core Factory Partner at Nike's 2025 Summit

Tegra, the manufacturing arm of Sae-A Trading, has achieved a significant milestone by being recognized as a core factory partner at Nike's "2025 Global Factory Partner Summit." The event, held between October 20 and 23 at Nike's headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, saw participation from over 500 members representing more than 115 suppliers across 25 nations. These included key brands like Nike, Jordan, and Converse. The summit aimed to review annual performance metrics, discuss future supply chain strategies, and introduce new sustainability and collaboration initiatives that Nike is pursuing.

During the opening day of the summit, Tegra captured considerable attention due to Nike highlighting its impressive capacity to fulfill 100% of its "Team Modified Volume" within a 45-day timeframe over the last six months. This accomplishment received accolades from Nike as an exemplary model for its Speed-to-Market strategy, emphasizing Tegra's ability to adapt and accelerate product cycles effectively.

On the second day, Nike launched its inaugural Supplier Awards, a ceremony that recognized excellence among its suppliers. Tegra emerged as the standout choice in the Apparel & Accessories category, being the only supplier from the North Central America region to win an award and the first factory partner to be acknowledged publicly on stage.

Marco Duarte, a Senior Director at Nike, presented Tegra with the prestigious "Athlete Mindset Award." This accolade celebrates the company's exceptional performance, operational consistency, punctual deliveries, and ongoing quality enhancements. Duarte remarked, "Tegra's excellence this past year—from its improvements in quality to its flawless delivery execution—reflects the team's passion, commitment, and determination. These achievements embody the spirit of Nike's core value, the 'Athlete Promise,' and we look forward to growing together with the same mindset."

Tegra's recognition reinforces its essential role within Nike's supply ecosystem, showcasing the rapid advancements made since Sae-A Trading acquired the company approximately 18 months ago. Rich Hwang, the CEO of Tegra, attributed this success to the company's agility, manufacturing skills, and unyielding adherence to quality standards, which are central to Sae-A Trading's enhanced global supply chain.

Tegra's operations are supported by an extensive nearshoring network across Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica, and the United States, enabling it to provide swift lead times, operational reliability, and high-quality manufacturing for major global brands, particularly Nike.

In summary, Tegra's acknowledgment at the summit highlights not only its stellar performance but also underscores the collaborative spirit within Nike's global supply chain. As the company continues to focus on speed, transparency, and reliability, it is poised to further solidify its partnership with leading brands around the world, assuring consistent quality and service that meets the demanding expectations of the fashion and sportswear industries.
