YANG Creative Center Opens in London Signifying Global Expansion

YANG Establishes London Creative Center

On April 25, 2026, YANG & Associates Group, a prominent design firm known for its innovative work, unveiled its new Creative Center in London, UK. This establishment signifies an important evolution in YANG's global outreach following its strong presence in the Asian market. The Creative Center is strategically positioned at 6 Bedford Square in the Bloomsbury district, close to the esteemed British Museum.

The venue is not just any location; it is housed in a historic building dating back to 1775. This Georgian structure has played host to various notable personalities throughout its rich history, including John Scott, 1st Earl of Eldon, and many influential figures in the realms of arts and culture. According to Yang Bangsheng, the founder and president of YANG, this location was chosen to symbolize the firm's commitment to cultural symbiosis through design. He stated, "Our choice of this location reflects YANG's long-standing philosophy of 'design as a medium for cultural symbiosis.'"

To celebrate the grand opening, a ceremony took place, featuring Yang Bangsheng and Magnus Scholz, the design director of the YANG Creative Center. The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Valerie Vaughan-Dick, CEO of the Royal Institute of British Architects, along with distinguished guests from notable European art academies and the international investment sector. The participation of such prominent figures marked the significance of the moment in the context of the global design landscape.

YANG was founded in 1997 and has its headquarters in Shenzhen, China. Currently, it boasts a team of over 600 design professionals worldwide, as well as an impressive tally of 538 international design awards underscoring its influence in the field. In 2025, INTERIOR DESIGN magazine ranked YANG as No. 2 in their 'International Giants' list, encapsulating the firm's impressive impact on a global scale.

The opening of the YANG Creative Center is viewed as a crucial milestone in transitioning from a primarily Eastern foundation to a broader global presence. The center serves as a hub for integrating leading design and artistic resources from around the world, facilitating the delivery of world-class design solutions that marry deep local cultural insights with an optimistic international outlook. With this launch, YANG reaffirms its dedication to enhancing cultural narratives through innovative design approaches, paving the way for future expansion and collaborations across continents.

As YANG continues to grow, the Creative Center in London is set to heighten its visibility and identity in the Western design community, providing an exciting avenue for artistic dialogue and exchange. In the coming years, it aims to emphasize the merging of Eastern and Western design philosophies, making a meaningful contribution to the ever-evolving global architectural landscape.
