About Mika Shinno
Born in 1977, Mika Shinno first gained attention by participating in TV Tokyo’s “East-West Children’s Singing Impersonation Contest,” leading to her debut in 1984 with the hit “Kamome Omae nara.” Her subsequent release “Otoko-bune” sold over 700,000 copies, ultimately leading to her first appearance at the prestigious NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen in 1987. In 1999, she made history as the first Japanese solo artist to debut in South Korea and has since participated in educational programs and collaborated with Grammy-winning artists and across various genres around the world.
