At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 held in Las Vegas, RICTOR made waves by launching its groundbreaking product, the X4, touted as the world’s first “Hop-on-and-Take-off” ultralight electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) vehicle. Retailing at an attractive price of $39,900, the X4 represents a radical shift in the landscape of personal air travel.

Redefining Accessibility in Aviation



What sets the X4 apart from traditional aircraft is its compliance with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 103 regulations. This compliance allows it to be flown legally without requiring airworthiness certification or a pilot's license, significantly lowering the barrier for entry into the world of piloted flight. This means that more people can experience the joy of flying without needing extensive training or licenses.

Innovative Features



The engineering behind the X4 is impressive. It is equipped with 63-inch carbon-fiber folding propellers arranged in a 4-axis, 8-propeller configuration. This design provides a remarkable payload capacity of 100 kg while ensuring that noise levels remain well below 65 decibels. Additionally, the X4 boasts a proprietary Dynamic Balance Algorithm that adjusts the power output of its eight motors in real time, allowing for stable hovering even in winds classified as up to Level 6.

It utilizes a semi-solid-state battery pack with a dual-battery redundancy system, providing peace of mind by allowing safe landings even if one battery module fails.
