Dar Global Reports Significant Growth in 2026
Dar Global, a London-listed luxury international real estate developer, has recently revealed its interim results for the first half of 2026, showcasing a remarkable 66% revenue increase. The company's revenue for the period ending June 30, 2026, rose to $258 million, compared to $155.4 million during the same period last year.
This impressive growth can be attributed to a combination of strategic projects and strong demand across its diverse portfolio, which spans the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, Europe, and the UK. The rise in revenue aligns with the company's objectives and responds effectively to market demand, highlighting Dar Global's robust operational framework.
The gross margin also showed a substantial improvement, climbing by 85% to reach $87.7 million, resulting in a margin rate of 34%, up from 31% previously. In addition, EBITDA experienced a 73% jump, hitting $46.3 million, while net profit surged by an astounding 149% to $30.4 million, compared to $12.2 million in the first half of 2025.
Noteworthy within this financial success were the contributions from flagship projects including The Astera, Interiors by Aston Martin, and Neptune, Interiors by Mouawad. These projects not only enhanced income but also underscored the brand’s ability to attract high-end clientele.
Dar Global's gross development value (GDV) reached nearly $23 billion, almost doubling from the previous year. Cumulatively, the company reported $3.9 billion in contracted sales revenue across 4,380 housing units. The real estate developer continues to maintain a strong balance sheet, boasting a net asset value of $613.3 million and a total cash balance of $847.9 million. Of that, $231.6 million remains liquid, ensuring a total liquidity of $579.3 million.
In Saudi Arabia, Dar Global forged a partnership in January with The Trump Organization to launch Rayana, a gated community covering 2.6 million square meters in Diriyah, featuring luxury homes and a championship golf course. The company awarded a SAR 338 million infrastructure contract (approximately $90 million) to Compass and Bin Omairah Company.
Furthermore, Dar Global unveiled the Trump Plaza Jeddah, with a gross development value of $383.6 million, as well as the adjacent Padel Living Residences, valued at $142 million, part of the broader Amaya development project. In April, the firm secured a term syndication credit of $250 million, allowing it to fortify its financial resources to pursue its ambitious projects.
As of August, following this period, Gulf Asia Contracting was tasked with constructing the base for the Trump International Hotel Tower, an impressive 80-story building rising approximately 350 meters along Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai.
Ziad El Chaar, Dar Global’s CEO, expressed confidence in the firm's resilience amidst regional uncertainties, attributing the success to the quality of their international portfolio. He noted, “Demand from buyers remained strong across all our markets. Looking forward, we continue to focus on growing our GDV in existing and new expanding markets, all while ensuring rigorous project implementation and execution. With a solid balance sheet, prudent capital management, and a promising project portfolio, Dar Global is well positioned to continue creating long-term value for its stakeholders.”
