Create Your Own Scent: A Fun Workshop for Kids in Kyoto

From September 20 to September 22, 2026, the elegant city of Kyoto will host a special fragrance workshop aimed at elementary school students. This exciting event, organized by Fragrance Project, the renowned tailor-made fragrance brand with a signature store called MY ONLY FRAGRANCE, will take place at their Teramachi Store. After a successful first workshop in Harajuku in August 2026, this will mark the first of its kind in the Kansai area.

Unique Learning Experience for Young Fragrance Enthusiasts

The aromatics workshop offers children a chance to engage with scents in a playful yet educative environment. Young participants will learn to compare different fragrances, select their favorites, measure ingredients, mix them, and label their creations, all while receiving guidance from friendly staff members familiar with the process. This hands-on experience is easily accessible for budding fragrance-makers and children who have never encountered scent blending before.

For a participation fee of 3,500 yen (tax included), each child will leave with their finished product, a unique 10ml bottle of fragrance crafted by their very own hands. This workshop promises not only fun but also a chance for personal expression through the art of scent creation.

First-Time Workshop in Kansai, Following Summer Session in Tokyo

Leading up to this event, MY ONLY FRAGRANCE has curated a terrific series of workshops with an emphasis on self-expression through scent. The previous workshop in Harajuku witnessed similar enthusiasts engaging in the creative process, fostering an inspiring atmosphere for creativity among children.

Located conveniently for shopping and sightseeing in Kyoto's vibrant streets, the Teramachi Store is easily accessible from Hankyu Kyoto Kawaramachi Station. The workshop sessions will be held in the cozy sofa area in the back of the store, aiming to create a comfortable setting for young minds to explore their olfactory senses.
