The Core of the System: Geo Central Station

At the heart of this new setup lies the Geo Central Station. This versatile hub can seamlessly integrate with antennas, providing support for as many as 80 wireless Beltpacks without requiring licensing fees. One standout feature is the Roaming Cascade technology that expands the communication range to over 4 million square meters, which is roughly equivalent to 560 football fields. The Geo Central Station also boasts native Dante integration and 4×4 network ports, enhancing audio interface capabilities while minimizing rack space and installation complexity. This allows for dedicated audio channels for each team, ensuring seamless communication.

Flexible Options with Solidcom H1

The Solidcom H1 is designed for adaptability, working either as an independent system or alongside the Geo Central Station. In standalone mode, it can accommodate up to 30 Beltpacks, increasing to 80 Beltpacks when connected to the central station. This makes it suitable for productions of varying scales, providing uninterrupted connectivity and versatile deployment options across different setups and environments.

Dave Liu, the CTO of Hollyland’s R&D Management Center, emphasized that the system was designed to meet the needs of modern, distributed production teams. "The modular topology allows scalable user capacity based on project needs. Beltpacks can transition smoothly between Remote Radio Units (RRUs) and central stations, offering flexibility in demanding environments," he stated. The inclusion of integrated cloud calling features further extends the system’s capabilities, transcending physical locations and enabling real-time communication over wide-area networks.

Advantages of Hollyland’s New Series

Hollyland's latest intercom series provides several leading-edge advantages compared to traditional consumer-grade communication solutions. Notably, the scale expands between 30 and 80 Beltpacks, catering to everything from small sets to massive live productions over a robust 1.9 GHz frequency band. One Solidcom ANT01 unit can reach up to 500 meters outdoors, and when cascaded, it forms an extensive wireless network, covering large areas without compromising connectivity.

The intelligent group management system allows for the storage and switching between up to 100 preset communication groups, streamlining collaboration among multiple teams in fast-paced environments. Even in smaller setups, it can support up to 12 independent groups per cluster of ANT01 units.

Mobility and Integration

The Solidcom BPK01 Beltpack, weighing less than 305 grams including the battery, is designed with mobility in mind. Users can enjoy up to 15 hours of operational time. With integrated Bluetooth support, it allows for wireless headphones or headsets to be paired, facilitating completely wire-free operation. Moreover, the four programmable buttons can be customized for enhanced control options, including multi-channel talkback, call signals, and combined actions via a simplified interface.

The system also features comprehensive cloud access, with two interconnected Geo Central Stations capable of managing up to 80 Beltpacks. Additionally, three cloud-connected Solidcom ANT01 units can control up to 30 Beltpacks, enabling remote participation from coordinators, directors, or technical supervisors. This design allows for real-time remote diagnostics and support, granting authorized users access to system settings and configuration interfaces via a secure web browser—eliminating the need for onsite intervention.
