Adidas Japan K.K. has announced a remarkable return to the tennis scene with the release of the London Originals Collection. This collection revives and reinterprets the rich culture of the longest-running tennis tournament in the world, inspired by its famous clubhouse. After a hiatus of around 30 years, Adidas is incorporating the Trefoil logo back into its tennis line, showcasing a unique blend of performance and style.

Set to launch on June 16, the collection features fresh perspectives on classic cuts and silhouettes, primarily built on the long-standing tradition of wearing white in tennis. Paying homage to the style popularized by tennis legends like Stan Smith during the vibrant 1970s, the designs incorporate vivid greens reminiscent of the tournament’s lush grass courts, complemented by striking logo placements and contrasting stitching. Unique design details such as argyle check patterns and tennis ball-inspired zippers add a contemporary twist to nostalgic styles.
