United Airlines Secures FAA Certification for Starlink-Equipped Aircraft

In a significant milestone for in-flight connectivity, United Airlines recently announced that it has received FAA certification for its first Boeing 737-800 aircraft equipped with Starlink technology. Our first Starlink-equipped mainline aircraft will enhance this experience further for many more passengers."

United Airlines is on track to equip over 16 aircraft models, both regional and mainline, with Starlink technology. The lightweight nature of the Starlink equipment allows for easier installation, requiring less fuel to operate, ultimately improving the efficiency of the aircraft.
