Sinocare Showcases Innovative Diabetes Management Solutions at EASD 2025

The 61st Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD 2025) took place in Vienna, Austria, where Sinocare presented groundbreaking solutions designed for managing diabetes. This year, Sinocare's involvement included an international symposium and an exclusive networking dinner, underscoring its commitment to advanced diabetes care and innovative technologies.

Highlights from EASD 2025

At the opening session, prominent experts including Professor Lori Laffel, Dr. Guido Freckmann, and Professor Julia Mader shared their research insights involving Sinocare's iCan™ Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) system. The symposium emphasized critical themes such as performance, practicality, and pediatric care, showcasing promising data from recent studies conducted in Germany and America focusing on both adult and pediatric populations.

Discussions also illuminated the prospective impact of diabetes technology on travel and employment opportunities for those living with diabetes, particularly within the aviation sector.

Launch of the iCan i6 CGM System

The spotlight was on Sinocare's state-of-the-art iCan i6 CGM system, which boasts enhanced accuracy over a 15-day period and comfortable wearability. Significant improvements to the user experience include:
  • - A one-step application process with a smaller, lighter sensor.
  • - Availability in 27 languages to meet global accessibility needs.
  • - An integrated altitude compensation algorithm providing reliable readings at higher altitudes.
  • - Improved mobile app integration for seamless global accessibility.

Sinocare's exclusive partner, A.Menarini Diagnostics s.r.l., also showcased the GlucoMen® iCan CGM system at the event. Menarini highlighted the latest features and clinical benefits of the iCan system, engaging healthcare professionals who attended the immersive stand.

Creating a Closed-Loop Diabetes Ecosystem

Prior to the main event, Sinocare hosted a private seminar dinner on September 15 to unveil its innovative “A+C” prevention and management ecosystem to select partners. This model integrates the non-invasive AGEscan screening device with CGM technology for early detection of diabetes risks and personalized interventions. Additionally, the hospital-based glucose management solution was presented, establishing a seamless connection between outpatient consultations and inpatient care, thereby enhancing diabetes management efficiency and healthcare quality.

Sinocare's presence at EASD 2025 not only reinforced global collaborations with experts and partners but also showcased the profound integration of technological innovations with patient and clinical needs. With cutting-edge research and integrated preventative and management solutions, Sinocare is poised to lead in the realm of diabetes management.
