Foundation's Generous Contribution to Families in Astana
In an impactful initiative aimed at addressing housing insecurity, the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation has made a significant donation of
500 apartments to the Akimat (City Hall) of Astana. This generous act is part of the foundation's ongoing commitment to support vulnerable communities throughout Kazakhstan, particularly through its notable
Balamaken project. The total value of this contribution is approximately
10.5 billion tenge, reflecting the foundation's dedication to improving residents' quality of life.
The new apartments, categorized as comfort-class homes, are situated in modern residential complexes that boast various amenities designed to foster a safe and comfortable environment. These developments come equipped with features such as lift systems, facial recognition technology for security, underground parking, and spacious courtyards. Such facilities ensure that the residents can enjoy a dignified living situation.
Among the first recipients of these apartments are essential workers, including teachers, doctors, and emergency service personnel, who play critical roles in the community. This initiative highlights the foundation's focus on supporting those who contribute significantly to society.
Ainur Karbozova, the CEO of the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation, emphasized the foundation's mission: "We are committed to providing tangible and long-term support to those in greatest need. Housing is a fundamental necessity, and through the Balamaken project, we aspire to help families improve their lives and strive for a more stable future."
One of the new homeowners, firefighter Yerlan Shaikhymov, expressed his profound gratitude, stating, "This apartment is incredibly important to us. As a father of five, this support is a significant relief for our family. We can now live with peace of mind and confidence in the future. We are deeply thankful for this opportunity."
Since its inception in 2019, the Balamaken project has successfully provided stable housing to around
1,000 families, including those with disabilities, large families, and victims of natural disasters across several regions, including Aktobe, Akmola, Kyzylorda, and Turkestan.
Founded in
2014, the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation is dedicated to various charitable programs encompassing areas such as inclusion, education, health, sports, and environmental protection. Over the past decade, the foundation has invested more than
98.4 billion tenge into charitable projects throughout Kazakhstan, making a real difference in countless lives.
