Automatic Dispensing System
This advanced system automates the dispensing process, crucial for sample preparation in analytical procedures such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and colorimetric analysis. Dispensing involves extracting specific quantities of liquids or powders and transferring them to another container. In experimental settings, this preparatory work can account for up to
60% of the total lab workload.
Punch Group combines extensive technical expertise and design capabilities honed through manufacturing to offer customized designs tailored to the specific needs of clients. Key features of their dispensing system include:
- - Camera-Based Lid Shape Recognition: Automatically identifies various shapes of container lids
- - Versatile Lid Compatibility: Supports press-fit and screw-type lids, among others
- - Contamination Prevention: The water receiver moves in sync with the pipette to prevent contamination
- - Modular Expansion: Options such as barcode reading and dilution modules can be added as per client specifications

P-Bas® Metal Bonding Technology
P-Bas®, short for
Punch Bonding and
sintering, is a unique technology that allows the integration of metals without melting them. This technique is particularly useful in creating intricate water channels within mold components during the injection molding of plastics. By deconstructing and processing a single mold component into parts, precise finishing and assembly can be achieved.
While 3D printing of metal powders has become a competitive field in the manufacture of complex metal shapes, Punch Group's technique stands out for several reasons: a wide range of special steel types that can be processed, cleanliness of the internal surfaces of cooled water pipes preventing rust and lowering costs thanks to the use of widely available special steels. The company is also exploring the sintering of metal powders to create new materials resilient enough to withstand extreme environments, such as those found in outer space, ensuring superior properties like lightweight, wear resistance, and thermal stability.
