Launch of SPINX Program's 9th Phase

01Booster Capital, based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, has officially launched the recruitment for the 9th phase of its spin-off and spin-out support initiative, SPINX. This innovative program has already seen participation from 122 individuals representing approximately 100 companies, spanning diverse sectors such as automotive parts, cosmetics, medical devices, aviation, food, and construction.

What is SPINX?

SPINX is a hands-on support program aimed at business executives and representatives engaged in exploring spin-offs and spin-outs. The program, run by 01Booster Capital, offers a closed seminar and networking sessions tailored to the various stages of spin-off planning and implementation. Thus far, participants have ranged from those merely contemplating a spin-off to those who have already put their plans into action.

Participant Statistics

From its inception in the first phase to now, 68 participants (56%) are currently evaluating spin-offs, 9 participants (7%) have successfully executed their spin-offs, and 45 participants (37%) are involved in the design and operation of their internal spin-off systems. Notably, 01Booster Capital has invested in 9 companies, including major firms such as Toray, Suntory, Tokio Marine, Sumitomo Corporation, Cisco, and a well-known printing company, emphasizing its commitment to fostering innovative start-ups in Japan.

Required Participation: Online Finance Lectures

The program requires participants to attend a series of 5 online finance lectures, essential for acquiring foundational financial knowledge necessary for realizing effective spin-offs and spin-outs. These sessions are scheduled every Thursday from 19:00 to 21:00, allowing participants to join after work hours. Here are the upcoming lecture dates:
