Establishment of Go Global Hub to Connect Entrepreneurs Worldwide with Japanese Innovators

Establishment of Go Global Hub

The Startup Lady Association, operating out of Shinjuku, Tokyo, has recently announced the launch of the "Go Global Hub," aimed at fostering connections between Japanese entrepreneurs and their global counterparts. This initiative has been endorsed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government as part of its 2025 Global Exchange Activation Project. The Go Global Hub seeks to create a collaborative space where innovation can flourish, allowing both Japanese enterprises and foreign entrepreneurs to exchange ideas and explore new markets.

The Vision Behind Go Global Hub

As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, the need for cross-border communication and understanding has never been more essential. The Startup Lady has been dedicated to supporting local and international entrepreneurs since its inception in 2017. Through their ongoing efforts, they have identified that language barriers, along with cultural and industrial comprehension, often pose significant challenges for Japanese entrepreneurs venturing abroad. Conversely, those who have successfully collaborated with foreign entrepreneurs tend to experience greater success in international markets.

With these insights in mind, the Startup Lady has established the Go Global Hub as a solution for enhancing collaboration between global entrepreneurs, investors, and Japanese innovators. This hub will serve as a platform for fostering co-creation and bringing together diverse talent.

To kick off this exciting initiative, the Go Global Hub will hold its first networking event, the "Cross-Border Startup Match Salon," featuring guest speaker Jordan Fisher, co-founder of Zehitomo and a Venture Partner at Antler Japan.
