On July 8, 2026, at 6:00 PM JST, DeRa Game Co., Ltd. announced a major update for the smartphone game 'Kingdom Ran - The Path to Unification.' The game will introduce two new characters, 'SR/UR Junkaku' and 'SR/UR Junkou,' as part of the ongoing 8.5th anniversary celebration.

Features of SR Junkaku
Junkaku, a newcomer in the Hishin Unit alongside his brother Junkou, possesses a powerful weapon skill that can weaken various abilities of enemy units within a specified range. His sub-skill allows for the recovery of troop health under certain conditions, making him a valuable asset in prolonged battles and high-stakes scenarios.
Features of UR Junkaku
As a member of the Hishin Unit’s pair of formidable fighters, Junkaku acquires an all-army enhancement skill that boosts the attack power of allied Hishin Unit commanders during alliance battles. He learns a total of three army-enhancing skills, allowing him to contribute effectively even when not deployed. When further improved, his damage skills become more potent, enabling him to inflict additional damage on enemy units during close combat, significantly enhancing his offensive capabilities.
Features of SR Junkou
Junkou, another new recruit in the Hishin Unit with remarkable physical abilities and tenacity, boasts a robust damage skill that inflicts multiple status ailments on enemy troops within a certain range. Additionally, he can apply a status ailment called 'Anger' to a wide array of enemy units every 15 seconds for a duration of 30 seconds, effectively drawing enemy attention. His unique tactics involve weakening the morale and troop health of enemies targeting his unit every three seconds while benefiting from the 'Anger' status to engage in combat successfully.
Features of UR Junkou
Having joined the Hishin Unit post the Battle of Kokyo, Junkou also gains a vital all-army enhancement skill that bolsters the defensive strength of allied Hishin commanders during alliance contests. With three total enhancement skills, he can also contribute even if he is not out in the field. Once fully upgraded, he recovers the health of his commanding allies continuously at night and boosts morale, showcasing an impressive potential for night-time battles.
The 8.5th Anniversary Pre-Event is Now Live!
Thanks to the overwhelming support of players, 'Kingdom Ran' will celebrate its 8.5th anniversary this summer! To heighten the festivities surrounding the upcoming anniversary, a series of pre-event activities are organized, promising special events and attractive campaigns.
