LX Pantos Completes Major Logistics Center in Katowice, Poland

LX Pantos, a leading integrated logistics provider, has recently celebrated the completion of its large logistics center in Katowice, Poland. This milestone event highlights the company's commitment to expanding its operations in Europe and strengthening its global logistics network through key infrastructure investments.

Located in the heart of Upper Silesia, Katowice is a strategic logistics hub, intersecting major transport corridors that connect Germany, Poland, Ukraine, and both Northern and Southern Europe. The site provides excellent access to highways, rail networks, and airports, making it ideal for intermodal logistics operations. LX Pantos anticipates that the center will become a pivotal distribution gateway for operations across Europe.

The logistics center was jointly acquired with the Korea Overseas Infrastructure Urban Development Corporation (KIND) and the PIS No. 2 Fund, a government fund under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, at a cost of approximately 140 million euros. Financing was provided by the Korea Ocean Business Corporation, which helped create a stable funding structure for the project. The facility consists of five buildings with a total area of 109,000 square meters and has been successfully completed as a modern large-scale logistics complex.

As LX Pantos looks to the future, the company plans to utilize the Katowice center as a strategic hub for its logistics operations in Eastern Europe. The focus will be on expanding services for large clients across various industries, including automotive component manufacturers, consumer goods, and home appliances. Moreover, LX Pantos aims to support Korean companies entering the European market, while also meeting the growing demand for logistics services in Eastern Europe and neighboring regions.
