The Kids Disaster Prevention Festival is set to take place at Haneda Airport Garden, located in Ota, Tokyo. This exciting event will run over two days, from May 30 to May 31, 2026, and aims to educate children about disaster prevention while they have fun. The festival is organized by Sumitomo Realty & Management and promises an array of engaging activities.

Explore Close-up Fire Trucks!

The festival will feature an incredible fire truck display where kids can get up close to various emergency vehicles, including chemical trucks, portable pump-loaded vehicles, and fire motorcycles.

• - Location: 1F Parking Area and Event Hall AB
• - Cost: Free Entry

Kids can also enjoy a mini-car riding experience which will be available for free. However, please note the vehicles on display may change without notice in case of emergency call-outs or inspections.

Take on the Disaster Challenge Rally

Encourage your children to learn about disaster safety through hands-on activities by participating in the Disaster Challenge Rally. Completing the trials will allow kids to earn their place as honorary members of the “Disaster Heroes.”

• - Time: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Registration ends at 4:30 PM)
• - Participants: Open to children aged 4 and older
• - Limit: 300 kids per day
• - Preparation: Receipts totaling over 3,000 yen from shops or restaurants in Haneda Airport Garden are required.
• - Experiences Available: Choose up to three from five activity types.

Bounce with Fun in the Kids’ Bouncy Park

The Kids’ Bouncy Park will feature large inflatable attractions such as a giant slide reaching about 4 meters high!

• - Time: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Registration ends at 4:30 PM)
• - Location: 1F Grand Hall and Event Hall AB
• - Age Group: Suitable for ages 3 to 12 (children under 3 require adult supervision and adults are free)
• - Cost: Varies per attraction (Cashless payment only)

Join the Disaster Stamp Rally

Throughout Haneda Airport Garden, children can collect stamps at various rally points and follow up with the official LINE account to receive a special treat — disaster food cookies! Only available for the first 250 participants each day.

• - Age Group: Open to elementary school children and below
