Early Start Times

To mitigate the intense midday heat, the event will maintain an early start time of 6:00 AM for all rounds, a shift first introduced last year. Historically, this tournament has begun at 7:00 AM, but to provide optimal conditions for players and spectators, the earlier start aims to shorten playing time during peak temperatures. Alongside this change, the parking areas will also open early, and shuttle bus services will align with the first trains to accommodate arriving spectators.

Expansion of Venue Facilities

To enhance player comfort and ensure a pleasant experience for attendees, several facilities will be augmented: 1. The addition of mist showers and shade tents in the teeing area. 2. The installation of large tents over dining spaces. These improvements are designed to allow players to perform at their best while providing a cool, shaded area for guests to relax.

Free Heat Countermeasures for Attendees

In a bid to combat the heat effectively, attendees will be provided with a variety of free items. These include mesh caps, hand fans, salt tablets, and drinks to keep everyone hydrated and cool. Additionally, this year, considerable changes have been made to the hats worn by outdoor staff, now including neck covers to provide better sun protection for those working long hours.
