CeraVe Celebrates over 100 Award-Winning Creators at Global CerAwards in Hollywood

CeraVe Hosts Inaugural Global CerAwards in Hollywood

On June 4, 2026, CeraVe proudly showcased the Global CerAwards in Los Angeles, hosting an impressive gathering of 111 award-winning content creators from 22 countries. This inaugural event was a celebration of creativity and talent in skincare, aiming to educate and entertain audiences about healthy skincare habits.

CeraVe, a renowned global skincare brand developed in collaboration with dermatologists, is recommended by over 90,000 dermatologists worldwide. The Global CerAwards stemmed from a local competition that started in Spain in 2023, growing to include over 5,000 entries across the globe this year. Participants showcased their expertise in skin health, engaging a vast audience of skincare enthusiasts and professionals.

The event attracted a diverse group of content creators, generating a combined following of over 44 million across social media platforms. This highlights the influential role of creators in spreading dermatological knowledge and establishing CeraVe as a prominent name in skincare discussions online.

The CeraVe Studios Experience

Central to the Global CerAwards was the CeraVe Studios, an experiential content creation space designed specifically for creators. Set within the iconic Hollywood film studios, it featured specially crafted sets, professional actors, and stunt performers. Creators were tasked with pushing the boundaries of storytelling in skincare while showcasing CeraVe’s cleansing products and the latest sunscreen offerings through four thematic challenges:

1. Raywatch - Inspired by a famous slow-motion running scene on Malibu beach, creators raced in a simulated windy beach environment to demonstrate the sand-resistant capabilities of CeraVe sunscreen.

2. SPF Games - Participants had three seconds to escape, hide, and protect themselves from the sun using giant CeraVe sunscreen products, with the risk of getting sprayed with water if they failed. Notably, the CeraVe sunscreen remained intact on the skin due to its water-resistant formula.

3. Stunt N' Sweat - Creators found themselves in a dynamic rooftop chase under the sun, overcoming various obstacles while showcasing the sweat-resistant properties of CeraVe’s Invisible Hydrating Sunscreen in a real-action scenario.

4. Mission Cleanser - To earn the CeraVe Foaming Cleanser, participants navigated through a scene filled with laser beams symbolizing damaged skin barriers, emphasizing the importance of maintaining skin health post-cleansing.

These engaging activities reflected CeraVe's distinctive approach to merging education and entertainment within the realm of skincare (medutainment), translating product features into compelling narratives enhanced by the creators’ storytelling.

Celebrating Talent and Innovation

The Global CerAwards culminated in a festive evening at the historic Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles, where creators gathered to celebrate their artistry and originality in shaping online skincare culture. The ceremony was emceed by actress and comedian Meg Stalter, with a judging panel that included notable figures such as Bailee Madison, Dr. Andrew Park, a certified dermatologist, and Gene Colón, CeraVe’s Global Senior Vice President of Health Affairs and Communications.

During the event, winners were announced, integrating them into the Ceramide Squad—a global community of creators collaborating with CeraVe. Awards went to those recognized for their creativity and top-notch content produced throughout the competition.

CeraVe’s Commitment to the Beauty Community

Founded in 2005, CeraVe has relentlessly worked to make therapeutic skincare accessible to all. The brand develops products that restore and maintain the skin's natural barrier, driven by dermatological expertise. Their formulations include three essential ceramides identical to those naturally found in the skin and utilize MVE technology for controlled and long-lasting hydration.

Vincent Chauvière, CeraVe’s Global President, shared, “CeraVe has always believed in reaching consumers where culture is happening, and we were among the first brands to harness the power of social platforms to make dermatological education more engaging and accessible. The first Global CerAwards takes this commitment further by uniting 111 creators from 22 countries in a unique Hollywood setting designed to inspire creativity and demonstrate what’s possible when creators, science, and entertainment come together.”

As CeraVe continues to impact the skincare landscape, we can look forward to more innovation and a dedication to educating consumers about healthy skin through collaborative channels.
