A Sweet Celebration: Pom Pom Purin Turns 30!

2026 marks the 30th anniversary of the beloved Sanrio character, Pom Pom Purin. To celebrate this milestone, Genki Global Dining Concepts is excited to announce a collaboration campaign at its sushi chains, Uobei and Genki Sushi, starting from May 7, 2026. The theme of the campaign is “Pom Pom Purin, Working at Uobei”, aimed at bringing joy and relaxation to customers during and after the Golden Week holiday.

Limited Edition Sweets

This campaign features two delightful limited-edition sweets:

1. Pom Pom Purin's Happy Cake: This is a frozen cake shaped like Pom Pom Purin's iconic face! It consists of a sponge base topped with a creamy, pudding-flavored mousse, finished off with a caramel-flavored hat, making it perfectly Instagrammable.

2. Pudding Cake (with Pick): A returning favorite from the past, this cake is designed with soothing colors reminiscent of Pom Pom Purin. Its flavor balances sweetness with a hint of caramel bitterness. The size is perfect for enjoying after a meal, and each cake comes with a special Pom Pom Purin pick, making it a unique treat.

Additionally, customers who order these limited-edition sweets will receive a random original badge from a total of eight different designs (four from the first batch and four from the second batch), with themes including the chef in traditional attire, Pom Pom Purin at work, and popular menu items such as shrimp tempura rolls and special pudding. There will also be a secret design to uncover!

During the campaign, on May 7 and May 18, customers dining in at Uobei and Genki Sushi who spend a minimum of 1,500 yen (tax included) will also receive one original badge as a special reward.
