JLL Secures Major Financing for Iconic Miami Condominium
JLL's Capital Markets group has announced a significant achievement with the acquisition of $565.35 million in construction financing intended for the Residences at 1428 Brickell, an ultra-luxury condominium tower rising in the heart of Miami's coveted Brickell Financial District. The project is expected to redefine luxury living in the area, offering residents unparalleled amenities and cutting-edge design.
The financing was arranged through esteemed financial institutions including JP Morgan and Sculptor, with JLL representing the borrower, Y-Tech. This landmark project spans 70 stories and will feature various luxurious homes, showcasing a diversity of floor plans from two to four-bedroom units, each ranging between 1,800 to 8,900 square feet. The development is designed by the acclaimed architect Antonio Citterio, along with ACPV Architects and Arquitectonica.
Innovative Design and Sustainable Features
One of the standout features of the Residences at 1428 Brickell is its commitment to sustainability. It will be the first high-rise residential building in the world to incorporate a solar backbone, embedding over 500 photovoltaic-integrated glass panels that collectively cover nearly 20,000 square feet. This architectural decision not only enhances the building's aesthetic appeal but also provides energy efficiency that sets a new benchmark in luxury residential construction.
The development goes beyond just aesthetics, focusing on creating an estate-inspired living experience. With an impressive 80,000 square feet dedicated entirely to resident amenities, the tower will include expansive resort-style pools, a two-story Owners Club, wellness facilities, and a rooftop observatory that promises stunning views of the Miami skyline. Strong Market Demand
As of October 2025, the Residences at 1428 Brickell is already 57% presold, highlighting a robust market demand for ultra-luxury residences in the Brickell area. The interiors promise opulence and a touch of modern sophistication, featuring premium Gaggenau appliance packages, custom Arclinea and Vaselli cabinetry, and lavish natural stone and marble finishes throughout the units.
The construction for this ambitious project commenced in November 2024 and set a record in September 2025 for completing the largest mat foundation pour ever executed in the Brickell area. The anticipation for its official opening is building, with project delivery estimated for Q4 2028.
