Originally released on November 20, 1995, the Fude de Mannen is designed to make writing in brush style accessible for everyone, even those lacking experience with traditional brushes. The pen features a unique nib that allows users to vary their line thickness simply by adjusting the angle of the pen while writing; upright for finer strokes and tilted for broader ones. This versatility has made it a beloved tool among artists for drawing with colored inks, further cementing its status as a must-have for creatives.

Special Edition to Celebrate 30 Years

In honor of its three decades of success, Sailor Pen will release a special anniversary model designed with an 'Birthday Party' theme. The design elements symbolize celebrations, incorporating delightful imagery of birthday cakes and festive confetti sketched in silk print, available in four variations: Shortcake, Confetti Purple, Confetti Pink, and the trademark Dawn Blue of Sailor Pen. Each package will also include a special leaflet containing fascinating tidbits about the Fude de Mannen's history, its manufacturing process, the secrets of brush lettering, and interesting naming stories that offer a deeper insight into this beloved product.

The exhibition will take place at the CREATORE with PLUS shop and showroom located at the B1 floor of Center Plaza, Ebisu Garden Place. Visitors can immerse themselves in a variety of displays that reflect the artistic capabilities of the Fude de Mannen while enjoying the chance to try their hand at writing.
