EPWK Unveils New Global Platform Aiming for Creative Services Leadership

EPWK's Ambitious Leap Towards Global Creative Services

In a significant milestone, EPWK (NASDAQ: EPWK), the first AI-driven creative services platform from China to go public in the U.S., has launched its international site, intl.epwk.com. This marks an exciting chapter in the company's global strategy as it aspires to serve as a vital connection point for creative resources across the globe. According to CEO Huang Guohua, EPWK aims to be a “global router for creative talent.”

From Local to Global

Founded in 2011 in Xiamen by Huang Guohua, a former journalist turned entrepreneur, EPWK has rapidly established itself as one of China's leading digital creative marketplaces. By June 2024, the platform had already catered to over 8.7 million buyers and 16.9 million sellers, successfully completing over 4.6 million projects with a remarkable total Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) exceeding $1.67 billion.

With the launch of its English-language version in June 2025, the platform is actively constructing a global ecosystem aimed at connecting enterprises with creative professionals regardless of location. "Whether you're in rural Yunnan or downtown Manhattan, we want you to find the right talent or project on EPWK," Huang states, highlighting the platform’s intent to democratize access to creative services.

Cutting-Edge AI Infrastructure

What sets EPWK apart in its quest for global expansion is its cutting-edge technology. As part of its strategies, the company integrated DeepSeek's robust large language model in March 2025, introducing an AI-powered assistant to streamline the hiring and project management processes. This intelligent assistant assists employers in clarifying project briefs, generating templates, and automatically matching tasks to suitable providers.

In addition, EPWK's platform boasts a personalized task recommendation engine and a pricing assistant designed to optimize transaction efficiency. The platform also has back-end protections such as escrow services, trust scoring, and copyright safeguards, aimed at easing the hiring process for users.

A Vision for International Engagement

Initially, EPWK's international site is focusing on regions like North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia, with future plans for multilingual support. Huang sees this international push as not merely a business expansion but as a chance to bridge creative freelancers and studios from China to global clients. In this way, EPWK serves international businesses looking for vetted creative talent essential for localizing content, design, and marketing as many Chinese brands set their sights on global markets.

Huang notes, “The creative economy is going global—and remote. We want to be the infrastructure layer enabling that shift.” He acknowledges the complexities that lie ahead, including cross-cultural operations, staggering time zone differences, regulatory challenges, and stiff international competition. Nevertheless, he believes these obstacles are surmountable and essential for establishing EPWK as a leader in the creative services sector.

What's Next for EPWK

With grand ambitions, EPWK envisions becoming a globally recognized internet platform with a market cap exceeding $10 billion. As of 2023, the platform achieved a GMV of $350 million and boasts a user base of over 25.6 million registered members. This growth comes from continuous investments in AI, data infrastructure, and cross-border services, while also standardizing creative work delivery on a global scale. Notably, EPWK has taken the lead in drafting China's first group standard for creative knowledge-sharing platforms.

In Huang's words, “IPO was just the beginning. The real story is how we scale talent, creativity, and trust across borders.” This statement encapsulates EPWK's long-term commitment to innovation and excellence in creating a global abode for creative professionals and businesses alike.
