Cavendish Hydrogen Expands Partnership with PAK-PCE H2 for Major Station Upgrade in Poland

Cavendish Hydrogen Enhances Hydrogen Infrastructure in Poland

On September 24, 2025, Cavendish Hydrogen ASA, listed on the Oslo Børs with ticker CAVEN, unveiled its latest endeavor in advancing hydrogen infrastructure through a substantial contract awarded to the company by PAK-PCE Stacje H2. This contract, valued at approximately EUR 1.3 million, focuses on upgrading the hydrogen fueling station located in Rybnik, a city in southern Poland. The upgrades are expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2026 and illustrate Cavendish Hydrogen's commitment to enhancing hydrogen mobility in urban areas.

Background of the Rybnik Station

Since commencing operations in the third quarter of 2023, the Rybnik station has proven to be highly effective, having successfully fueled more than 7,500 vehicles and dispensed over 100,000 kilograms of hydrogen. The station played a critical role in promoting the use of hydrogen as a clean energy alternative within the local transportation landscape. With the city of Rybnik expanding its hydrogen-powered fleet with the addition of 11 Neso buses, the upgrade became essential to meet the growing demand for hydrogen fuel.

Details of the Upgrade

The upgrade will involve the installation of new equipment, including an additional station module and dispenser, significantly increasing the station's capacity. Following the project's completion, the Rybnik station is poised to become one of Europe's largest hydrogen refueling stations, thus strengthening its role in the burgeoning hydrogen market. This transformative upgrade aligns with broader initiatives aiming to promote green technologies in urban transport, underscoring the partnership's importance between Cavendish and PAK-PCE H2.

Statements from Company Executives

Robert Borin, the CEO of Cavendish Hydrogen, expressed his enthusiasm about the ongoing collaboration: "At Cavendish, we are pleased to continue building on our already strong partnership with PAK-PCE H2 Stations. Our collaboration serves as a testament to our commitment to not only deliver market-leading product quality but also ensure operational excellence through responsiveness and competence. We remain dedicated to securing a leading position in the Polish hydrogen market."

In concordance, Paweł Bujak, the CTO of PAK-PCE H2 Stations, emphasized the importance of this project and the relationship with Cavendish, stating, "Cavendish has supported PAK-PCE H2 Stations from the very beginning in building our hydrogen refueling network in Poland, which now boasts six locations. This continued collaboration will enhance the infrastructure in Rybnik, significantly contributing to the development of the hydrogen market and supporting urban transport through our Neso buses."

Conclusion

The partnership between Cavendish Hydrogen and PAK-PCE H2 Stations represents not just a forward-thinking strategy in addressing environmental challenges but also showcases the potential of hydrogen as a sustainable energy source within public transportation systems. As this project moves forward, it will be exciting to observe how the upgraded Rybnik station influences the region's energy landscape and urban mobility solutions.
