Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's Historic Visit to Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan

The meeting with Yamanashi Governor Kotaro Nagasaki facilitated an exchange of ideas aimed at enhancing cooperation in hydrogen technology and workforce training. This was preceded by a gateway meeting held in Tokyo on February 25, which gathered Indian companies and those interested in Indian business opportunities, and led to fruitful discussions.
Yamanashi Prefecture has been proactively working towards building economic ties with Uttar Pradesh, India's most populous state, which boasts a population of 240 million. In December 2022, the two regions signed a basic agreement to foster mutual economic benefits through green hydrogen technology, human resource exchange, and tourism.
