Creality Makes Waves at Formnext 2024 with K2 Plus Launch and New Innovations
Creality Shines at Formnext 2024
At the recent Formnext 2024 exhibition held in Frankfurt, Creality made an impressive mark as a frontrunner in the 3D printing technology sector. The company presented several exciting products that cater both to hobbyists and professional users. With a commitment to innovation and collaboration, Creality continues to push the boundaries of what's possible in the world of 3D printing.
Flagship Products and New Introductions
One of the highlights of the exhibition was the K2 Plus Combo, a significant addition to the K1 series. This model sports a printing volume of 350 mm³ and boasts features such as automatic filament detection, multi-filament support, and a seamless loading and unloading process. Powered by Creality OS and Edge AI, the K2 Plus promises exceptional print quality, an actively heated chamber, and intelligent monitoring to enhance the user experience.
The Ender-5 Max also made its debut at the event, designed for professional applications with a generous build volume of 400 mm³. It features automatic bed leveling and a sturdy all-metal frame, optimized for high-speed operations up to 700 mm/s, making it ideal for print farms managing multiple printers simultaneously.
Another star on display was the Ender-3 V3 Plus. This printer, designed for ease of use, features a 300x300x330 mm build area, advanced CoreXZ structure, and next-gen extrusion system for quick, high-quality prints. Its automatic bed leveling and user-friendly touchscreen make it suitable for users at any skill level. Complementing this model is the compact Ender-3 V3, which also hits impressive speeds of up to 600 mm/s without sacrificing print quality.
Creality also introduced the Halot-Mage S, a premium resin printer equipped with a 10.1” 14K Mono-LCD that achieves impressive speeds up to 150 mm/h. It employs a uniformly integrated light source to ensure sharp, precise prints, while Smart HALOT OS enables remote printing capabilities.
Ecosystem Upgrades
In addition to impressive printers, Creality revealed the Falcon A1— a user-friendly 3D printer optimized for home use, capable of speeds up to 600 mm/s with automatic material detection and requiring no assembly. Furthermore, the Creality RaptorX, a high-precision 3D scanner (0.02 mm), was unveiled, designed for large objects ranging from 5 mm to 4000 mm.
New filament options were presented as well, including Rainbow PLA for vibrant multi-colored prints, Hyper PETG—perfect for outdoor models due to its toughness and chemical resistance, and PPA-CF, a carbon-fiber reinforced high-temperature nylon filament tailored for industrial applications. Additionally, new resins such as Halot Rigid Resin and Plant-Based Resin enhance Creality’s material ecosystem, offering superior performance, environmental friendliness, and ease of use.
The industrial branch of Creality, PioCreat, showcased advanced solutions for large-scale and dental applications. The DJ89 PLUS resin printer, featuring an 8K LCD with an integrated light source, offers significant precision combined with automatic feeding capabilities. Their G12 FGF Pellet 3D printer provides a large build volume of 1200×1000×1000 mm, ideal for shapes and prototypes, while the G5Ultra targets educational and research needs using cost-effective thermoplastic pellets.
Engaging Participants and Partners
To enhance participant engagement, Creality launched a social media campaign themed “Life is Colorful, Just Like You,” allowing attendees to interact with their products and receive 3D-printed souvenirs. Their models were also showcased at partner booths from companies like Sunlu, Kexcelled, Keli, BASF, and eSUN. Creality further engaged the global audience through live streaming and interviews with leading media outlets like All3DP and 3Dnatives.
Commitment to the Global Market
Mr. Tang Jingke, co-founder of Creality, reaffirmed the company's commitment to the European market, emphasizing their growing presence and partnerships within the region. “Our participation in Formnext underscores our dedication to advancing 3D printing technology and strengthening our engagement in European manufacturing and technology sectors.
