EPG Releases Groundbreaking ESG Report to Guide Sustainable Global Expansion

On April 19, 2026, EPG Singapore Pte Ltd published its inaugural 2025 ESG report, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to sustainability as the company aims for global expansion. This report outlines EPG's comprehensive approach to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices across its international operations, emphasizing the importance of responsible growth in the current business landscape.

Environmental Commitment

EPG’s environmental initiatives showcase its dedication to sustainable practices. The company has successfully achieved full compliance with all relevant environmental regulations, ensuring that 100% of its waste is treated and disposed of responsibly. Furthermore, EPG has completed its first greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory, which covers Scope 1, Scope 2, and key Scope 3 categories. This inventory serves as the foundation for EPG’s emissions management strategy and long-term decarbonization roadmap, allowing it to track its progress and set ambitious targets for reducing its carbon footprint.

Social Responsibility

Socially, EPG has made substantial strides in fostering diversity and inclusion within its workforce. Women constitute 31% of the company's total employees, with an impressive 85% of managerial positions in Malaysia held by locally recruited talent. This commitment to diversity not only enhances EPG's corporate culture but also strengthens its local engagement in key markets. The company has maintained a diversified supply chain, relying on approximately 47% of suppliers based outside mainland China, thereby bolstering the resilience of its operational framework and contributing to local economies.

Governance and Future Directions

In terms of governance, EPG is steering its ESG efforts through a dedicated committee tasked with overseeing ongoing progress. Presently, the Board of Directors includes two female members, accounting for 22% of the board, and has maintained a commendable meeting attendance record of 100%. As part of its evolving ESG framework, EPG is embedding its management systems in existing and future facilities, starting with its new manufacturing plant currently under construction in Malaysia. This strategic move reflects EPG’s commitment to integrating sustainability into its operational DNA.

Alick Wan, the Founder and Chairman of EPG, articulated the company’s vision, stating, “Scaling globally only means something if we scale responsibly. We see an opportunity to redefine what sustainable infrastructure looks like for the AI era.” EPG aims to prove that high-performance infrastructure can indeed coexist with a minimal environmental footprint, and adopts modular construction as a pathway to achieving this vision.

In line with its sustainability philosophy, EPG contributed a chapter to the upcoming book "Greener Data, Volume III," which will launch on Earth Day 2026. The chapter discusses how the adoption of modular construction techniques reduces on-site waste, lowers embodied carbon, and enhances lifecycle sustainability. This case further illustrates that ambition for commercial success does not have to come at the cost of responsibility.

Having recently secured approximately $200 million in Series B and B+ funding, EPG is poised to reinforce its company-wide ESG governance while continuing to scale its modular approaches across its expanding global footprint. As EPG navigates its journey towards sustainable growth, its comprehensive ESG initiatives will serve as both a guide and benchmark for responsible corporate practices in the modern era.

As EPG looks to the future, it remains dedicated to its mission of delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for its clients across varied regions, including APAC, EMEA, and beyond. This inaugural ESG report marks the beginning of its ongoing commitment to transparency and accountability in sustainability efforts, setting the stage for its long-term success in the global market.
