Khruangbin and Lord Huron to Headline Outside Festival 2025

The excitement is already building for the second annual Outside Festival, set in downtown Denver's Civic Center Park from May 31 to June 1, 2025. Following last year's massive success, this festival promises even more thrilling experiences, featuring renowned artists Khruangbin and Lord Huron as headliners.

A Bigger and Better Festival Experience

The Outside Festival will deliver a diverse lineup of music and activities. Along with the prominence of Khruangbin and Lord Huron, attendees can also see artists like Sylvan Esso, Trampled by Turtles, and many more yet to be announced. The festival will not only showcase live music but will also incorporate film screenings, athlete panels, and various outdoor sports activities designed to engage participants of all interests.

A highlight of the festival is the Outside Summit, which is expected to bring in over 500 influential leaders from the outdoor industry. This event is scheduled for May 29 and is designed to facilitate networking and discussions around outdoor recreation.

Mayor Mike Johnston expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “We’re beyond excited to bring the Outside Festival and Summit back to Denver in 2025. Last year's festival was a resounding success, and we’re thrilled to spotlight Denver's vibrant community and culture as one of the nation's best cities.”

Economic Impact of the Festival

The inaugural Outside Festival attracted more than 18,000 attendees and delivered an estimated $16 million boost to the local economy. With an increased capacity for the 2025 festival, the organizers anticipate welcoming over 25,000 participants. The festival footprint will extend beyond Civic Center Park to include Lincoln Veterans Memorial Park, the Denver Art Museum, and the renovated Denver Public Library.

“Colorado's outdoor recreation economy accounts for a staggering $66 billion annually, and it’s a pivotal part of our success as a city and state,” said Conor Hall, Director of the Outdoor Industry for Colorado. “Hosting this event again solidifies our position as an industry leader.”

Tickets for the festival will go on sale from December 11, starting at $99 for the full weekend access. VIP packages, which include premium viewing areas, private bar access, and expedited entry, start at $150 for a single day.
