I-GLOCAL Group Partners with ASTHOM Partners

On July 15, 2025, ASTHOM Partners, a global accounting network, welcomed I-GLOCAL Group, the first Japanese accounting firm in Vietnam, as a member. Headquartered in Tokyo, I-GLOCAL is led by Chairman Yutaka Kabuki and President Takayuki Jitsuhara. With I-GLOCAL’s membership, the number of member firms within ASTHOM Partners expands to six.

The partnership aims to leverage localized expertise to support Japanese companies as they expand their global operations across 17 countries, providing nuanced, responsive services tailored to their needs.


Background of Membership

Vietnam stands out as one of the most dynamic economies in Southeast Asia, engaging in well-rounded diplomacy with various nations and regions. It has signed numerous free trade agreements (FTAs) and economic partnership agreements (EPAs). The nation’s economic growth is primarily driven by a foreign-investment and export-oriented manufacturing sector, supported by a relatively low-cost, high-quality labor force.

As of 2024, the number of Japanese company establishments in Vietnam reached 2,543, ranking fifth in Asia after Singapore. According to the JETRO “2024 Survey of Japanese Companies Overseas,” 56.1% of companies expressed a positive outlook, planning to expand within the next two years.

However, challenges remain, particularly regarding the opacity of Vietnam’s legal frameworks and regulatory practices.
