OCVIBE Expands Culinary Offerings with Four New Chef Collaborations at Katella Commons
OCVIBE Enhances Katella Commons with New Culinary Talent
OCVIBE, the expansive mixed-use development across 100 acres in Orange County, is set to elevate its dining scene with the addition of four new culinary stars at Katella Commons. This bustling market hall, which will officially welcome guests in early 2027, aims to be a central hub for diverse dining experiences, and these latest chefs will contribute significantly to its culinary offerings.
The new establishments joining Katella Commons include Don Churros Gomez, run by brothers Jaime and Ricky Nuñez Gomez, bringing the authentic taste of Mexican churros to the community. Their family-operated business has its roots in Yahualica, Jalisco, Mexico, where it all began with their grandfather in 1969. Guests can expect not only traditional thin churros but also a selection of other authentic Mexican desserts crafted from time-honored family recipes.
Chef Henry Pineda and his wife, Panda, are thrilled to reintroduce MFK | Modern Filipino Kitchen, a restaurant that celebrates Filipino flavors and community dining. Originally launched in Anaheim back in 2017, this new incarnation reflects their culinary journey and devotion to Filipino heritage. The menu has been specially curated for Katella Commons, offering a modern twist on beloved Filipino dishes, all while creating a space where families can gather and share meals.
Adding to the international flavors is Mojo and Pull Roll, helmed by Chef Guoming
