AnyCarry Partners with SBIC to Optimize Last-Mile Delivery Operations Nationwide

Enhancing Last-Mile Delivery: AnyCarry and SBIC Partnership

On June 15, 2023, AnyCarry Co., Ltd. initiated a strategic partnership with SBIC Co., Ltd. to improve last-mile delivery operations in Japan. This collaboration combines SBIC’s delivery service, known for its famous Tonkatsu delivery restaurant "Kasaneya," with AnyCarry's advanced logistics management system, enhancing operational efficiency and flexibility across 161 stores nationwide.

Key Features of the Collaboration

The partnership integrates SBIC’s Order Management System (OMS) with AnyCarry’s nationwide delivery network, known as "ADMS Connect." Rather than all orders being automatically assigned to AnyCarry, the system allows stores to decide when to call in AnyCarry's delivery services based on their specific needs. This mechanism provides an added layer of flexibility, essential in the fast-paced food delivery industry.

Each OMS has a dedicated button that, when clicked, permits the store to access crucial information such as:
  • - Estimated time of delivery to the store
  • - Rough cost of the delivery service

Upon pressing the button, the store is seamlessly connected to AnyCarry's logistics system, which automatically arranges for a delivery driver. Hence, businesses can maintain their in-house delivery capabilities while efficiently leveraging external delivery resources when necessary.

Background of This Initiative

The increasing demand for delivery services within the food sector has underscored the necessity for flexible and effective delivery systems. SBIC recognized a need to balance its in-house delivery operations with the ability to utilize external services as demand fluctuates. This led to the exploration of a system that ensures efficient delivery allocation and ultimately to the partnership with AnyCarry.

This approach enables a more agile delivery operation that adapts to varying demands. AnyCarry is committed to supporting food service operators by continuing to innovate within last-mile logistics.
