The term "Buchiumai" means "very delicious" in the local dialect, embodying both a genuine appreciation for the culinary delights and the warm spirit of Yamaguchi.

This fair features a delightful array of dishes such as the famous "Kawara Soba" and "Sanzoku-yaki," along with other local specialties like "Yamaguchi Aburato Tomato," "Yamaguchi Kirara Milk," and wasabi from local farms.
