NBS Logisol Expands Hypertension Treatment Services
NBS Logisol has announced a significant expansion of its hypertension treatment support services, initially offered to drivers, to include warehouse employees and other non-driver staff. This initiative follows a year of successful health improvements among the company's drivers, highlighting the importance of employee wellness in the logistics industry. Starting December 2025, approximately 100 additional employees engaged in warehouse operations and administrative roles will have access to the online medical service "Hypertension E-Medical."
Background of the Expansion
This expansion comes amid rising concerns of health-related accidents within the logistics sector, particularly as driver health continues to be a pressing issue. The service, launched last year, provided every driver with online medical consultations through the combination of Omron Healthcare’s Bluetooth blood pressure monitors and E-Medical Japan’s telemedicine platform. After a year of implementation, the program has already demonstrated concrete health improvements among drivers. Many have resumed necessary treatments that they had previously interrupted due to busy work schedules, while instances of undiagnosed hypertension have also been uncovered.
Recognizing the similar health risks faced by non-driver staff working in physically demanding and often harsh environments, NBS Logisol has decided to extend this service to include warehouse employees. This move aims to foster overall health management across all operations within logistics, providing a comprehensive safety net for all employees.
