Exciting Announcement for INDIE Live Expo 2025

The INDIE Live Expo Executive Committee, managed by RYUZ Office, has confirmed the next INDIE Live Expo event, scheduled for November 29, 2025. Alongside this announcement, a new event key visual has been revealed, crafted by Kotori, known for their work on the game Gnosia.

This event is open for game title submissions from developers, both from companies and independent creators. The submission period ends on September 30, 2025, at 11:59 AM (JST). Each entity can submit one title for free, and we eagerly await your entries!

What is INDIE Live Expo?

INDIE Live Expo is a showcase dedicated to promoting indie games, centered on the theme of "contributing to gaming." The show is broadcast globally in four languages: Japanese, Chinese, English, and Korean, and has amassed over 100 million views to date. Over 3,000 games have been introduced through the expo, making it a significant event for indie developers worldwide.

For the INDIE Live Expo 2025 on November 29, there will be three main segments: INDIE Waves will introduce more than 100 indie titles, INDIE Spotlight will focus on the latest information regarding notable games, and the annual INDIE Live Expo Awards will celebrate outstanding entries.

Unveiling the New Key Visual

The new theme illustration titled “Sharing Hope” emphasizes a collaborative spirit among indie game developers. As the landscape surrounding indie games continues to evolve, this artwork, designed by Kotori from Petit Depot, embodies the aspiration for everyone to progress together hand in hand.

Event Hosts Announced

This year’s host for the event will be Taiga Kishi, a renowned game caster known for his work with the VALORANT Champions Tour. Also returning are familiar faces from Japanese broadcasts: Waiwai, Nobaman, and Yamien, who will provide unique insights and passionate commentary that resonate with fans of indie game culture.

How to Submit to INDIE Waves

Developers interested in showcasing their game titles can apply via the entry form available on our website. Please prepare necessary materials such as video files, textual information, and game documentation for your submission before the deadline on September 30, 2025, at 11:59 AM (JST).

After the submission period, our committee will review the entries, and results will be communicated by mid-October. Note that due to high interest, an appropriate selection process will be conducted if we receive more entries than can be accommodated, aiming for around 100 titles in total.
