Huawei Unveils Upgraded Xinghe Smart Network for European Markets Enhancing Industry Intelligence

Huawei's Innovations at the Network Summit 2025

On October 2, 2025, in an event that gathered over 800 industry experts and partners from more than 30 countries including Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, and Turkey, Huawei presented its dramatically updated Xinghe Smart Network solutions at the Huawei Network Summit 2025. This initiative intends to foster network innovation across Europe while sharing insights on the digital and intelligent transformation within the region.

Jim Lu, Huawei's Senior Vice President and President of the European Region, highlighted that as AI capabilities advance and costs decrease, the large-scale adoption of intelligent solutions is accelerating. The upgraded Xinghe Smart Network is designed to facilitate data flow and provide an excellent AI application experience, positioning it as ideal for industries aiming for smart transformation. Lu expressed Huawei's commitment to collaborating with customers and partners to lay a solid foundation for intelligence and achieve mutual success in a smarter future.

Steven Zhao, Vice President of the Data Communication Product Line at Huawei, elaborated on the innovative framework behind the Xinghe Smart Network, known as '3-Beyond'. This strategy aims to push boundaries in three significant aspects: Performance, Resilience, and Autonomy.

  • - Performance Beyond: This aspect challenges network capacities to deliver an exceptional service experience.
  • - Resilience Beyond: It ensures unprecedented reliability and comprehensive security through advanced means.
  • - Autonomy Beyond: This integrates both digital and physical worlds, fostering advanced autonomous networks.

Enhanced Security with Xinghe AI Campus

Huawei introduced groundbreaking innovations for campus scenarios, including the Wi-Fi Shield technology, aimed at revolutionizing industry standards. Its first-of-its-kind security camera-detecting access point (AP) utilizes full-band scanning and smart algorithms to ensure privacy 24/7. Furthermore, Wi-Fi detection technology employs patented algorithms to monitor micro-movements at the centimeter level, thus preventing unauthorized access and securing sensitive areas.

Building Resilient Data Center Networks with Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0

Satisfying the needs of modern banking, where new services can be launched within days, yet security policy updates remain manual and error-prone, the Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 promises efficiency in configuring thousands of networking and security devices in just five minutes—translating to a remarkable 100-fold increase in productivity. The innovative Eagle-Eye Engine can detect 200,000 streams in real-time, facilitating quality traffic analysis, swift fault detection, and resolution within minutes.

Accelerating Industry Intelligence with Smart WAN Solutions

Traditional methods are proving inadequate for ISPs when it comes to identifying encrypted applications, hampering the development of value-added services. Huawei addresses this challenge with smart and precise service awareness algorithms, achieving over 95% accuracy in identifying encrypted applications. For the energy sector, stringent delay requirements arise during the transition to flexible grids. Huawei’s smart jitter elimination technology combats delay variation within asymmetric latency, outperforming industry averages by 20 times, managing to control 10 μs of latency variations effectively.

NetMaster: The Future of Smart Networking

With the surge in mobile applications and expansion of wireless networks, inefficiencies in manual operations and maintenance require intelligent solutions. Thus, Huawei launched NetMaster, the industry’s first smart network agent that automates the complete process—from awareness and analysis to decision-making and implementation. In higher education and office scenarios, this technology effectively resolves 80% of wireless issues automatically, slashing resolution times from hours to minutes.

Addressing Real-World Challenges in Healthcare and SMBs

In commercial markets, health sector scenarios expose mobile nursing devices to packet loss during transit. Huawei's Advanced Same Frequency Network (ASFN) technology offers zero loss by synchronizing APs at the nanoscale level, enabling uninterrupted services for medical terminals. Additionally, the dual-Microcontroller Unit (MCU) architecture allows switching in under a second.

SMBs, often limited by IT budgets, face challenges like insufficient IT expertise and unreliable video conferencing solutions. Huawei's eKit addresses these obstacles, with innovative products like the enterprise-grade AR180 wireless router, which integrates eight essential functions, thereby reducing capital expenditures by 50%. Meanwhile, the high-density Wi-Fi 7 AP673 projects three times the average concurrent capacity, ensuring seamless execution of HD video conferences.

At this summit, Huawei also published the Wi-Fi 7 Advanced Technology White Paper in collaboration with industry leaders, presenting innovations like integrated Wi-Fi communication and extensive security measures. Moreover, a comparative analysis demonstrated Ethernet’s superior performance over InfiniBand in key metrics, establishing Ethernet as the primary preference for smart computing data centers, particularly enhanced by NSLB algorithms, which significantly boost RoCE network performance.

Moving forward, Huawei aims to position the Xinghe Smart Network as the cornerstone of future intelligent infrastructure, promoting innovation and ecosystem collaboration for a smarter tomorrow.
