Promoting Smiles and Wellbeing to the Elderly
In a significant initiative poised to make a real difference, actor Masaki Nomura, associated with Sun Music Productions, is launching a charitable project aimed at enhancing the lives of the elderly. Set to officially commence in April 2026 in Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto Prefecture, this project focuses on tackling the pressing challenges of Japan's increasingly aged society through the power of entertainment and community engagement.
Background of the Project: Extension of Healthy Lifespan
Japan is undergoing an unprecedented transition into an ultra-aged society, which brings with it numerous concerns regarding elderly care, particularly in maintaining physical function, preventing social isolation, and providing mental health support. The decline in physical activity and social interaction not only contributes to physical deterioration but also steals away mental vitality. As an answer to these pressing issues, Nomura’s project aims to offer the following three key contributions to nursing care:
1.
Maintaining and Enhancing Physical Function: The project includes exercise programs based on beauty chiropractic principles, meticulously designed to improve physical well-being from the foundation.
2.
Mental Health and Isolation Prevention: Engaging with familiar entertainment forms to invigorate participants mentally and combat feelings of loneliness.
3.
Revitalizing Local Communities: Collaborating with local governments, including Yatsushiro City, to foster a community-wide awareness of health.
