The Palm Springs Air Museum is excited to announce the return of America's Freedom Tribute, showcasing an 80% replica of the Vietnam Wall. This emotionally powerful exhibit will be open to the public from
February 8 to 11, 2026, providing a poignant remembrance of the lives lost during the Vietnam War.
Details of the Exhibit
The Traveling Vietnam Wall measures approximately 350 feet long and stands 8 feet tall at its highest point. It will be beautifully displayed on the tarmac behind the Palm Springs Air Museum, offering attendees a unique opportunity to pay their respects.
On
February 8, 2026, the Wall will officially open at
10 AM and remain accessible 24 hours a day until the morning of
February 11, 2026. This immersive tribute honors the 58,307 American soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Vietnam War, allowing visitors to connect with history on a deeply personal level.
In addition to the replica wall, the exhibit will feature the
Cost of Freedom Tribute, which includes smaller panels that recognize American sacrifices across various conflicts, including
World War I,
World War II, the events of
9/11, and operations in
Afghanistan and
Iraq.
