Special Performance in Taiwan to Express Gratitude
In November 2025, Kagaya Co., Ltd. (based in Ishikawa Prefecture), Asahi Beer Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Tokyo), and JTB Corp. (also based in Tokyo) are set to hold a special performance titled "謝謝!台湾加賀屋レプラカン歌劇団特別公演". This event will take place over four days in Beitou, Taiwan, aiming to convey heartfelt gratitude to the people of Taiwan who have generously supported the recovery efforts following the devastating Noto Peninsula earthquake.
This performance will not only express appreciation to the Taiwanese community but also serve as a precious opportunity to showcase the charm of the Hokuriku region to Taiwanese audiences. One of the venues, the Nichijusho Kagaya in Taiwan, is a vital link between Japan and Taiwan, celebrating its 15th anniversary in December 2025. Thus, this event is designed to strengthen the ties between the two nations.
Kagaya, Asahi Beer, and JTB are committed to keeping the memory of the Noto Peninsula earthquake alive and will continue working towards recovery efforts.
Overview of the Performance
The Kagaya Reprakan Opera Company, which has been entertaining guests with dinner shows and various events, is well-known for its dynamic performances catered to inbound tourists. Appointed as the hometown ambassadors in July 2025, they have created a significant impact in promoting their local area.
In response to the damage caused by the Noto Peninsula earthquake, Kagaya, Asahi Beer, and JTB collaborated to bring back the Kagaya Reprakan Opera's shows, which had been put on hold. Starting from October to December 2024, a special performance was held in Tokyo as the first phase of this relief initiative.
The upcoming performance in Taiwan aims to thank the generous donors from Taiwan during the earthquake recovery period, further organized with support from the Taiwan Arts Community Association and the Hot Springs Museum to ensure a large-scale spectacle. Collaboration with the Nanao Chamber of Commerce and the Wakura Onsen Shopping Federation will enrich the expressions of gratitude and facilitate direct communication with the Taiwanese community.
