Stage Entertainment, a prominent global theater production company, has officially announced the appointment of Roel De Vries as its new CEO, set to take office on May 1, 2026. This transition marks the end of Arthur de Bok's nine-year tenure at the helm, during which he guided the company through transformative periods, including its recovery post-COVID-19.

Roel joins the company with an extensive and diverse background in the entertainment and hospitality sectors. Most recently, he served as the Group Chief Operating Officer for City Football Group (CFG), where he played a vital role in transitioning CFG from a football-centric organization to a broader entertainment and hospitality entity. His strategic vision there focused on enhancing revenue growth through significant investments and building commercial capabilities.

But Roel's roots in the industry run deeper. He has over 25 years of experience at Nissan Motor Corporation. During his tenure, he held various senior positions in continents including Europe, Asia, and Africa. One of his notable achievements was as the global Chief Marketing Officer, where he championed innovative partnerships and strategic initiatives that considerably bolstered Nissan's brand value. His approach has always centered on providing exceptional customer experiences while maintaining rigorous management standards.
