The first MoC will see Astronergy Europe GmbH, CHINT Power Systems Poland, and CHINT Solar Poland collaborate closely with Octopus Energy on various renewable energy initiatives. The agreement sets a comprehensive framework wherein CHINT will supply a range of essential equipment for renewable energy projects. This includes photovoltaic (PV) modules, inverters, energy storage systems (BESS), transformers, smart meters, cables, and electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions. Furthermore, CHINT will provide engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services specific to each project, supporting the development and implementation of these essential energy projects.

Innovating Virtual Power Plants in China

The second MoC focuses on establishing a collaborative effort between Chint Anneng Digital Power (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. and Octopus Energy Group Limited to explore possibilities in virtual power plants (VPPs) within China. The collaboration will concentrate on identifying opportunities in aggregated energy resources, demand response systems, intelligent energy management, and other digital energy applications. With CHINT Anneng's in-depth knowledge of the Chinese energy market combined with Octopus Energy's international expertise in intelligent energy technologies, both companies will work together on innovative business models and pilot projects that will facilitate the creation of a more flexible, digitalized, and resilient electricity system.
