Spooktacular Treats Await You at Grand Hyatt Tokyo's Halloween Sweets Selection

Halloween Sweets & Breads at Grand Hyatt Tokyo

As Halloween approaches, Grand Hyatt Tokyo, overseen by General Manager Michael Golden, is set to unveil an exciting array of “spookily cute” sweets and breads at the Fiorentina Pastry Boutique. From October 1 to October 31, the hotel will offer a limited selection inspired by classic Halloween motifs such as Jack-o'-lanterns, witches, and mummies. Perfect for at-home afternoon teas, their Halloween Afternoon Tea Takeaway Box will also make its debut for the season.

This year, guests can indulge in nine exclusive sweets and breads that highlight the culinary team’s creativity and skill. A standout offering is the brand-new Grand Premium Halloween Cake, designed to evoke the whimsical world of Halloween. Upon opening a white chocolate dome adorned with ghosts, witch hats, and pumpkins, patrons will discover a pumpkin cake crafted exclusively for the occasion. This cake is filled with a blend of carefully selected ingredients, including Japanese pumpkin brulee and diced pumpkin layered in a fluffy sponge cake, all wrapped in a rich Jersey cream and topped with luxurious pumpkin cream.

Returning favorites include the Jack-o'-lantern, which can be fully eaten, featuring delightful chocolate and icing cookies along with two types of crunchy chocolate medallions within a chocolate bowl. Other offerings include a charming assortment of petit fours called Halloween Piccolo Gatto, macarons decorated with ghosts and pumpkins, and much more, all designed to highlight the essence of Halloween.

For those wishing to enjoy at-home festivities, this year’s Halloween Afternoon Tea Takeaway Box is a delightful option, containing a range of sweets and breads perfect for sharing. The top tier features enchanting treats such as monster-inspired cream puffs, ghostly macarons, finger-shaped cookies, and seasonal pumpkin and purple sweet potato roll cakes, alongside smooth pumpkin pudding. The lower tier includes mummy-themed brioches, curry breads, and two types of scones: bamboo charcoal cranberry and pumpkin.
