The venture is largely backed by a substantial investment of $550,000 from Health Net, which has been instrumental in closing the funding gap necessary for kicking off the construction of these 100% affordable units. Unlike many housing projects that feature a mix of market-rate and affordable units, all 37 residences are reserved for low-income households, ensuring that families most in need have access to secure living arrangements.

Community leaders, alongside representatives from both Eleos and Health Net, convened at the construction site to celebrate the project’s groundbreaking. This streamlined approval pathway aims to fast-track housing developments, minimizing delays that can extend for years in traditional project timelines.
