Digital Hollywood Co., Ltd, which operates educational institutions in IT and digital content, will be cooperating with the Digital Hollywood Alumni Association for the event titled "Digital Hollywood Alumni Association Homecoming Day 2025 in Tokyo" scheduled for June 28, 2025.

The Digital Hollywood Alumni Association aims to expand digital content as a new industry through networking among alumni members and interactions between alumni and current students. This gathering acts like a reunion for graduates of various Digital Hollywood educational institutions.

Details About Last Year’s Event

Following last year's success, this year's Homecoming Day will again take place at Digital Hollywood University and Digital Hollywood Tokyo (both located in Ochanomizu, Sorashi City Academia).
Events will include campus tours and workshops in the fab lab, with a social gathering scheduled in the evening. Whether you graduated a long time ago or just recently, this is an excellent opportunity to reconnect with Digital Hollywood and its alumni community. Everyone is welcome to join!

Additionally, a similar event is planned for Osaka in September, so if you reside in the Kansai region, please check the Homecoming Day 2025 portal site or follow the Alumni Association's Peatix page for updates. Registration for the Osaka event will begin in late July.

Event Schedule

• - Date: June 28, 2025 (Saturday) 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM (Social Gathering 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM, free entry)
• - Venue: Shurugadai Campus, Digital Hollywood University, Surugadai Hall, Cafeteria, etc., Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo
• - Participants: Alumni and current students from Digital Hollywood educational institutions, faculty, staff, and their families or friends.
• - Cost: Free (prior reservation needed), a fee of 3,000 yen for the social gathering plus Peatix service charges.
• - Registration: Sign up here (Reservation Required)

Event Content

1. Booth Exhibitions (1:00 PM - 5:00 PM) - Exhibitions showcasing diverse projects from alumni, including product displays and live performances.
2. Alumni Sessions (2:15 PM and 4:15 PM) - Featuring keynote speeches from invited alumni such as Rie Yoneda discussing the global strategy of Japanese content and the success story of the short film "Origami," which won various awards including the Student Academy Award.
3. Campus Tour - Current students from the PR Project Team will lead small tours of the Shurugadai Campus, sharing insights into campus life and experiences.
4. LabProto Experience (available for alumni members only) - Hands-on making sessions in the fabrication lab under the guidance of Professor Hiroyuki Hoshino.
5. Alumni Gathering Social (5:30 PM - 8:00 PM) - A casual networking event where alumni can reconnect and share stories, with a fee to cover refreshments.
