Pan Global Resources Reports Significant Gold Discovery in Cármenes Project

Pan Global Resources Inc. has recently shared exciting updates regarding its Cármenes Project in northern Spain. The company announced the discovery of high-grade gold mineralization through underground channel sampling and surface trenching at the Providencia target, part of this copper, gold, nickel, and cobalt project.

The results revealed intercepts of 3.11 g/t of gold over 37 meters, with peaks such as 7.70 g/t over 6 meters. This announcement is pivotal for the company, as it suggests that the gold mineralization could extend well beyond the limits of historical mining operations in the area.

Details of Recent Discoveries

The initial drilling program at the Providencia target is currently being expanded to include three additional drill holes. This expansion is intended to thoroughly explore the broader target area developed through recent findings. The drilling aims to probe beneath historical mining sites, which had previously focused on extracting copper and cobalt, neglecting gold resources.

Tim Moody, President and CEO of Pan Global, expressed optimism regarding the findings: “The ongoing drilling at Providencia is testing the extensions of high-grade mineralization beneath the historical major mine workings. We are eager to see how this opportunity unfolds.”

This project has immense potential due to the discovery of a new gold zone located to the east of Providencia. The current drilling efforts are critical as they focus on confirming the economic viability of these gold deposits. Recent assays from channel samples taken in two historical adits (tunnels) reinforced the presence of gold, showing high content over significant widths.

Significant Sampling Results

Recent sampling from underground and surface tests indicates substantial gold grades. The results include:
  • - 37 meters with 3.11 g/t Au including peaks of 7.70 g/t over 6 meters.
  • - Continuous channel samples yielded impressive grades indicating continuity of high-grade gold in the area.
  • - Surface trenching results also confirmed nearby mineralization spanning an expansive area, further enhancing overall project attractiveness.

These findings suggest that the mineralization extends beyond previously understood boundaries, prompting the team to consider further exploration efforts. The location of the project, approximately 55 km north of León, encompasses over 5,653 hectares, suggesting that the area is ripe for further exploration.

Broader Context and Future Outlook

Pan Global Resources is actively engaged in the exploration of copper-rich mineral deposits, highlighting the encouraging fundamentals in the industry. The company’s Escacena project is located in a region characterized by robust mining infrastructure and regional stability, which enhances its investment appeal.

The team, comprised of experienced professionals in exploration and mining, is committed to sustainable practices and interaction with local communities. With continued exploration and positive geological indications, Pan Global is positioned well to capitalize on potential future discoveries.

As the company moves forward, it will continue to evaluate both historical and new sites to maximize the project's long-term value, always bearing in mind the community and environmental stewardship necessary in modern resource extraction.
