Daiichi Sankyo Healthcare Products Now Available as Hometown Tax Rewards

Daiichi Sankyo Healthcare Products as Hometown Tax Rewards

Daiichi Sankyo Healthcare, headquartered in Chuo City, Tokyo, has announced that several of its products will be offered as rewards for hometown tax donations in various municipalities where the products are produced. The products became available on multiple hometown tax portal sites starting from June 20, 2023.

What is Hometown Tax?

Hometown tax, known as "furusato nozei" in Japan, allows residents to donate a portion of their local taxes to a municipality of their choice, often their hometown. In return, donors receive local specialty products as gifts, which can be tax-deductible under certain conditions. This system encourages individuals to engage with and support local communities.

Featured Products

The registered products include:
  • - MINON: A skincare brand specifically formulated for sensitive skin.
  • - TRANSHINO: A comprehensive brand focused on spots and blemish care, featuring a medicinal skincare line.
  • - CLEARLEX WI: A low-irritation medicated cleansing detergent suitable for everyday use.

These items are practical and catering to daily skincare needs, reflecting Daiichi Sankyo Healthcare's commitment to supporting individual health and wellness.

Collaboration with Local Governments

This initiative is a result of collaboration with the local governments of the manufacturing sites. By connecting the "hometown" of their products with communities across Japan, Daiichi Sankyo Healthcare aims to enhance local appeal and vitality, contributing to a healthier and more enriched life for everyone through its products.

The rewards can be accessed through various hometown tax portals such as "Sato Furu," "Furusato Choice," "Furunavi," and "Rakuten Hometown Tax." For precise details, please check the respective portal sites.

Important Notes on Hometown Tax System

It is important to note that under the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' policies, the current hometown tax system will remain in place until September 30, 2025. Effective from October 1, 2025, the awarding of points across all hometown tax portal sites will be abolished, so donors should be aware of these changes.

Commitment to Sustainable Society

Daiichi Sankyo Healthcare continues to deepen its collaboration with local communities in an effort to foster a sustainable society. Through its range of healthcare products, the company is dedicated to promoting self-care and encouraging individuals to maintain their health and well-being.
