Eldorado is set to open its latest Pokémon card specialty store, the Pokémon Pavilion, on December 6, 2025, in Akihabara, Tokyo. This new establishment will focus specifically on trading Pokémon cards from over 20 years ago, including other nostalgic collectibles from games like Yu-Gi-Oh! and Duel Masters.

Background and Purpose

Recognizing the increasing demand for vintage Pokémon merchandise from both domestic and international customers, Eldorado decided to revamp its sales strategy. The new Pokémon Pavilion will cater exclusively to Pokémon cards, while the previous store will be rebranded as the Yu-Gi-Oh! and Duel Masters Pavilion. This change allows for improved expertise and a wider range of products in both venues.

The Pokémon Pavilion will feature more than double the floor space of the previous store, making it one of the largest dedicated card stores in the bustling Akihabara district. Visitors can enjoy a spacious environment to admire the showcased cards, which range from their childhood favorites to items that were once hard to find.

- Expansive Sales Area: The new location boasts a sales area three times larger than before, providing ample room to display Pokémon cards dating back over two decades.

- Buybacks for Other Collectibles: The store will also accept trade-ins for Yu-Gi-Oh! and Duel Masters items at the adjoining pavilion, making it a great spot to organize your collection as the year winds down.

Grand Opening Campaign (Increased Buyback Offers)

From December 6 to December 21, 2025, all customers will benefit from a 20% increase in the buyback amounts at both in-store and mail-in services. This campaign has a maximum bonus potential of ¥200,000, perfect for year-end collection organization.

Additionally, first-time mail-in customers will receive an extra 5% bonus as part of a special introductory offer. Other promotional activities for in-store purchases will also be announced.
