Enhancing Safety for Children in Goka Town
On September 12, 2025, Goka Town in Ibaraki Prefecture received a heartfelt donation of dust mite spray products, "Danikorori Natural Mist" and "Danikorori Allergen-Free," from Kurashi Lab based in Shibuya, Tokyo. This donation, made as part of the corporate hometown tax initiative, included 20 bottles of each spray, marking the first instance of Goka Town accepting product donations through this program.
After the donation was welcomed at the town hall, Mayor Chiku expressed his gratitude towards the company. The presentation featured the company's CEO, Mr. Takanashi, and the head of product development, Ms. Yono, who were both acknowledged for their contributions. Mayor Chiku emphasized the significance of this donation in providing safe environments for children at two of the town's children's centers.
Significance of the Donation
In his remarks, Mayor Chiku stated, "By utilizing these products in our local children's centers, we are ensuring that children can enjoy our facilities in a safe and secure manner." Mr. Takanashi added, "We hope that Danikorori Natural Mist and Danikorori Allergen-Free will be beneficial for the children of Goka Town, allowing them to play without worries." Following this, the team visited the children's centers to personally deliver the products to facility staff.
Effective and Safe Solutions for Allergy Management
In recent years, issues regarding dust mites and allergy-related health problems have become increasingly prominent due to climate change and alterations in living environments. The sprays, "Danikorori Natural Mist" and "Danikorori Allergen-Free," are made from natural ingredients and are expected to effectively suppress dust mites and house dust. Importantly, these sprays do not contain harmful pesticides, making them safe for use around children and pets.
A Commitment to Child Safety and Well-being
Goka Town has long been dedicated to enhancing support for families, including initiatives for free medical care for children, as well as covering preschool and meal costs. The town features two children's centers that provide invaluable spaces for children, particularly during extreme heat episodes that make outdoor play challenging. Given the increasing numbers of dual-income households, these centers serve an essential role as after-school environments for children, fostering a sense of community outside of school.
By implementing the use of "Danikorori Natural Mist" and "Danikorori Allergen-Free" within these children’s centers, Goka Town aims to create a safe and enjoyable atmosphere where parents feel confident allowing their children to play freely. These measures underline the commitment to not only enhancing child safety but also providing robust support systems for families within the community.
The collaboration with Kurashi Lab exemplifies a proactive approach in addressing modern challenges while ensuring that children's enjoyment and well-being remain a priority for Goka Town's future.
