Topaz Labs' NeuroStream™ 2 Revolutionizes AI Rendering Speeds for Creators

Topaz Labs Unveils NeuroStream™ 2: A Leap Forward in AI Rendering Technology

Topaz Labs, renowned for its innovations in AI image and video enhancement, has recently revealed the next generation of its proprietary acceleration technology, NeuroStream™ 2. This powerful upgrade promises to significantly improve processing speeds for both image and video models, allowing creators to experience rendering times that are up to four times faster than before.

With the initial launch of NeuroStream™ 1, Topaz Labs made strides in enabling complex AI models to run efficiently on consumer-grade hardware. However, with the introduction of NeuroStream™ 2, the company has taken a significant leap forward, reducing user wait times from minutes to mere seconds. Xiaoyu (Kevin) Wang, Partner and Head of AI at Topaz Labs, stated, "We've taken the next major leap forward to dramatically increase performance. User wait time has now dropped from minutes to seconds, which enables interactive, high-capacity workflows and a significantly better user experience."

The enhancements are particularly notable for users employing models like the Starlight Precise 2.5 video upscaling model, where tasks that would typically take up to 30 minutes have been reduced to just 14 minutes on a standard enthusiast PC setup. With a configuration including an NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti (12GB VRAM) and an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, the improvements are profound, with processing speeds achieving double the efficiency many content creators already benefit from in their existing setups.

NeuroStream™ 2 supports various iconic models from Topaz Labs, including Wonder 3, Denoise Max, Face Recovery 3, Super Focus 3, and Hyperion 2. Importantly, these capabilities are accessible to all current subscribers utilizing compatible NVIDIA, AMD, and Mac hardware. This broad access means that even more creators can leverage the power of accelerated rendering times to enhance their content creation workflows.

In conjunction with the unveiling of NeuroStream™ 2, Topaz Labs also announced two exciting new models: Face Recovery 3, which enhances facial features in videos, and Noise-Aware Sharpen, designed to sharpen images while minimizing noise. Furthermore, there's expanded local support for Mac and AMD users, along with a new Topaz Plugin for Nuke VFX Film Editing Software, underscoring Topaz's commitment to advancing user experience across platforms.
