CertaPro Painters® Honors Outstanding Franchise Owners for Excellence in Service and Quality
CertaPro Painters®, recognized as North America's most referred painting company, recently held its annual leadership conference and announced the winners of its prestigious awards. These accolades celebrate franchise owners who have made their mark by providing reliable, high-quality painting services in their respective communities. From consistent work to exceptional customer experiences, the awards recognize those who have achieved remarkable profitability in both residential and commercial projects.
Among the notable winners this year are Aaron and Michelle Lewis, the proud owners of CertaPro Painters® of Northwest Arkansas. Their dedication to excellence earned them the highest honor, the coveted CertaCup. They were recognized for their exceptional leadership and adaptability as they enter their 20th year in business. The couple not only focuses on operational efficiency but also emphasizes a culture of teamwork within their franchise.
"Our success is truly a collective effort," Aaron Lewis stated. "Everyone played their part, and we remained concentrated on delivering the quality that our customers expect." In addition to the CertaCup honorees, several finalists were recognized for their outstanding contributions. Notable among them were Alfredo Flores and Manuel Sanchez, who co-own CertaPro Painters® of Central Northeast Houston, TX; JJ Darr, owner of CertaPro Painters® of Dayton; and the team from CertaPro Painters® of Westchester and Southern Connecticut, comprising Mitch Berliner, Peter Buttenwieser, and John DeLuca.
CertaPro also announced its top residential and commercial painters. Jim Kmiec from CertaPro Painters® of Fox Valley North, IL, received the residential award after over two decades of consistently delivering excellent service. Another residential honoree, Juan Quijada from CertaPro Painters® of Columbus, celebrated his team's achievement of generating over $1 million in completed jobs in 2025.
On the commercial side, the award went to Oscar Santamaria of CertaPro Painters® of Rhode Island, who has been a part of the franchise since 2002. His owner praised his incredible skills and ability to tackle challenges with ease. Additionally, the team of Robert Garcia from CertaPro Painters® of Austin, TX, was recognized for their talent in managing large-scale projects efficiently.
