53,000 participants. Notably, participation from outside of Illinois and the Midwest saw an incredible
130% rise from 2023, significantly enhancing the race's profile and economic footprint. This influx of runners and supporters has resulted in increased spending across various sectors, especially outlining the flourishing
tourism industry, which alone marked over
$177 million in economic activities due to the event.

4,589 full-time jobs, marking a 24% increase in employment opportunities compared to 2023. This resulted in approximately
